Our meetings have now resumed in the village hall after 12 months using video conferencing.  The public are once more very welcome to attend and put questions and ideas to the Council at the public sessions or just listen to the discussion.

If you'd like to say anything to the Parish Council, for instance tell us your ideas for new or improved facilities in the village, other things you'd like to see the Parish Council doing, even volunteer to get involved in some way, please speak to us. You can:


Annual Audit

The Annual Audit of the Parish Council accounts has now been completed by the Government appointed external auditor.  The accounts were approved without comment. The Auditor's certificate can be seen in Section 3, page 6, of the updated 2022 AGAR documents.  The formal notice of Audit completion is here.


Best Kept Village Competition

Chearsley was joint runner in the Morris Cup competition this year along with with Great Brickhill and Padbury. We are awarded a Certificate of Merit for that result The winner was Stoke Goldington .  The results and judges notes are here.


Gigaclear to bring High Speed Broadband to Chearsley

Gigaclear is  a company specialising in providing very high speed broadband services to smaller rural communities, and they are planning to install their network in Chearsley in the near future.  They have already delivered a letter to every household in the village outlining their plans, a copy of which is here.
